Alcohol and Drug Support Ministry.
Welcome to 2024!!! We are excited that you stopped by our website.
Won't you pray about partnering with us.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and fund our mission.
Emmanuel Promise of Hope Inc, or EPOH as we affectionally call it, is for men who have come from all walks of life.
Many come with broken spirits and broken hearts that have been overloaded by the cares of this world.
Many have been through the justice system- some more than once.
The majority who come to our ministry have already made a commitment
to seek a new way of living through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17.
To participate, clients are required to have income to support rent obligations for the duration of their residence, either from employment or another source and have completed treatment / recovery program.
They typical length of residency is approximately 12 months.
Clients are encouraged to attend drug or alcohol support group meetings each week (EPOH facilitates meetings weekly within the village complex and due to our location there are other meetings that are held locally. We encourage our residents to save money to aid them in securing permanent housing once they have completed their residency within our ministry.
The program (EPOH assists by teaching them to develop a budget along with other financial management skills); and each man is encouraged to find a church of their choice to attend services on a regular basis.
During the pandemic, we were able to acquire some property located right beside our current property on E. 60th St. As a result, we were gifted 2 beautiful pavilions. They were placed in March of 2022, and we were able to host our 1st community day in May of 2022. These additions have already been a very positive addition to our neighborhood and community. Since the addition of the pavilions, we also have become more active in our local community, in the summer of 2023 we hosted another community outreach event which was very successful. We look forward to continuing to grow and expand the ministry in order to reach to many more within the community that we live in. The vision of Emmanuel Promise of Hope Inc is to continue expanding into include much more help within the city of Cleveland. We invite you to stop by anytime and visit our beautiful grounds here at EPOH.
What's New at the village? We have been very busy with growing and maintaining the ministry and reaching out into our community. We are looking forward to much more growth and expansion for the ministry of EPOH! So, look out for what the future will bring for us!
Some of our residents along with our President Pastor Kevin Hamilton, they were enjoying their Christmas dinner and gifts!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

At Emmanuel Promise Of Hope, we have been providing services to men since 1989, as with anything we want to expand and as a result, we had a vision to see a playground in our community for the children and through some generous donors and volunteers God made it possible. Please check out our gallery of pictures! we dedicated the Pocket Playground on July 13, 2024. In attendance was our Ward 7 council lady Stephanie Howse-Jones, St. Clair Superior CDC representative, Brittany Hubbard, and LMM Vice President of housing Michael Sering. LMM helped to facilitate the donation of the Sea Friend Manny, along with the wonderful team from Ingenuity Cleveland, Emily Applebaum and Gabe the fabricator who built Manny. We had volunteers from Alpha Kappa Alpha and Enbridge come by and help us put the playground together as well. Also, we had Home Depot who donated flowers and mulch. We also, had additional donors who provided the rubber mulch and so much more! We are eternally grateful for everyone who played a part in this endeavor.
Manny has added such a bright light to our already changing community. We are so grateful that our children have a place off the streets to come and gather. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
